Ted Mosby

Ted Mosby is the central character and narrator on How I Met Your Mother.

Ted is from Shaker Heights, Ohio.

Ted is the son of Virginia and Alfred Mosby and has a younger sister named Heather.

He is a graduate of Wesleyan University, where he studied architecture.

By nature he is hopeless romantic and nice at heart.

After his best friend Marshall Eriksen gets engaged, Ted decides to try and find his soulmate. This quest informs the general direction of the show, and Ted’s relationship with the other main characters Marshall Eriksen, Lily Aldrin, Robin Scherbatsky, and Barney Stinson.

In the year 2030, he has two children (daughter and son, names unknown) by the character commonly known as “The Mother”
